When will my first Fabric of the Month ship?
Fabric of the Month Club shipments go out every other month, in one batch to all subscribers.
Your first shipping month depends on when you place your order:
Orders placed on or before 30th November → ship by 15th December
Orders placed 1st December – 31st January → ship by 15th February
Orders placed 1st February – 31st March → ship by 15th April
If you placed your order in December or January, your first fabric will ship in February.
This does not mean you are behind — it simply means you joined after the previous batch had closed.

Please note that the cut off points for ordering are midnight UK time, e.g. February Club will be shipped to those who have placed their order on or before January 31st 2026 by midnight UK time.
Please allow extra few weeks for delivery around in December month due to extended delivery times caused by Christmas shipments in the postal network and a number of public holidays.
I ordered in December — why haven’t I received anything yet?
This is our most common question!
The Fabric of the Month Club ships every other month, not monthly.
December orders join the February shipping batch, as the December fabric cut-off order time required an order to be placed by 30th November.
Your place in the club is secure, and your fabric is being dyed especially for the upcoming batch.
Will I be charged again before my first fabric ships?
If you place your order between the 1st and 24th at the start of a new order cycle
(for example December, February, April, June, etc.), your recurring billing date will be moved to the 25th.
This means:

You will receive your first fabric before your subscription renews

You won’t be charged again before your first Fabric Club delivery arrives

Your subscription then continues smoothly on a bi-monthly cycle from the 25th
If you place your order on or after the 25th, your billing date will naturally align with the standard bi-monthly schedule.
You will never lose a shipment or fall behind — this adjustment is simply there to make the timing fair and clear for everyone.
Which months does the Fabric Club ship?
The club ships every other month:
December, February, April, June, August, October, and so on.
Fabrics ship within the first two weeks of each shipping month.
Can I add fabrics from your standard range to my Fabric Club shipment?
Sometimes — on a case-by-case basis.
The Fabric Club includes subsidised shipping, budgeted for a lightweight parcel of specific dimensions. Adding extra items can affect both postage costs and timing.
If you’d like to add one additional piece of fabric, please email us before the club ships.
Please note:
- Standard fabrics have a 4-week turnaround
- Adding items may delay your Fabric Club shipment
Can I skip or pause a Fabric Club shipment?
At the moment, we’re unable to offer a pause or skip option.
As a very small business, we dye exact quantities for each Fabric Club batch. Allowing pauses would create significant stock risk.
If you no longer wish to receive the club, you can cancel instead (see below).
How do I cancel my Fabric of the Month subscription?
You can cancel the recurring subscription at any time:
Through your customer account on our website, or
By emailing orders@swanbayfabrics.com
Please cancel at least one day before your next billing date to prevent the automated charge from going through.
Subscriptions that have already been processed cannot be refunded if we have already started dyeing the Fabric Club fabrics.
What fabric counts and bases are included?
Each shipment includes your chosen count, base, and size, hand-dyed on premium Zweigart linen or Aida.
We focus on neutral, sampler-friendly colourways, with:
- Exclusive pre-releases
- Brand-new, club-only shades
- Occasional returns of always-sold-out favourites
Can I choose the colour each month?
No — the Fabric of the Month is a surprise colourway, thoughtfully designed to suit a wide range of traditional and sampler-style projects.
You can still keep full control over count, base, and size.
Can I buy more of previous FOTM fabric?
We may list a small surplus of the Club fabric on a case-by-case basis - Fabric Club members will be notified via email if such offer becomes available.
The fabrics will become available for general purchase if they are released into our standard range.
Are Fabric Club colourways exclusive?
Many Fabric Club shades are exclusive or released early to subscribers.
Some may never be added to the standard range.
Are the fabric sizes exact?
All sizes listed are pre-dyeing and pre-serging.
We always cut an extra inch per quarter, and once processed, fabrics are typically 18–18.5 inches wide when ready to ship.
Does the price include shipping and taxes?
Yes — for UK and US customers, shipping and applicable taxes are included in the subscription price.
Customers in the rest of the world will see discounted shipping rates calculated at checkout.
What if my preferred count or size is out of stock?
If your preferred option is showing as out of stock, please email us at
