Across the Pond SAL - One Stitch at a Time by La-D-Da PATTERN
This pattern is from Lori Markovic of La-D-Da. It has been chosen by the Across the Pond community as the 2025 SAL starting 10th January. If you haven't yet, please join our Facebook group to Stitch-A-Long with us! 😊
The pattern features a house, birds, flowering trees and the saying "Beautiful things come together one stitch at a time." It includes a written hem stitch and mitered corners tutorial including photos and detailed how-to description.
Called for materials: 36 ct Wheat from Fiber On A Whim using Weeks Dye Works floss. Stitch count is 191 x 119.
LOOKING FOR DONE-FOR-YOU THREAD PACK? You can get the called for Weeks Dye Works floss pack from Korry's Little Shop - please click HERE.
LOOKING FOR FABRIC? If you'd like to get Swan Bay Fabrics for the SAL, our neutral range matches this pattern well - we can recommend Pemberley, Light Sanditon or Longbourn Blush.
Please note that both threads and fabrics are PRE-ORDER and are guaranteed to be with you (in the UK) before 10th January if you place the order by 8th December.
If you place an order for both the fabric and the pattern, your pattern will ship together with your fabric (currently 2-3 weeks lead time) unless you want to have the pattern ahead of time. Please place 2 separate orders for pattern only and fabric only if that is the case.
Thank you so much for stitching with us!

I had been struggling to find this pattern in the U.K. & was delighted to find it available at Swan Bay Fabrics. I’m looking forward to stitching it on my Swan Bay linen.
